HAY stands for How Are You. It's a question we're asked everyday and more often than not, we give a vague answer because sometimes, even we don't know. The goal was to support you as you are, where you are, wherever that is. It was designed to counter the suggestions that if you "do this one thing, you'll be better on the other side of it". HAY wants to remind you, regularly, that there is no better version of you somewhere else. And that even when it's hard, this human experience is one to stay connected to.
You can choose the free version of HAY or upgrade to premium for 5.99/month or $49.99 for a year.

HAY was designed for users at every level of practice. HAY can even be used by folks who've never undertaken a wellness practice before. While the yoga poses are somewhat simple, beginners to movement based practices should move slowly and know their own limitations or those placed upon them by their doctors. Users should always consult a doctor before undertaking a new practice.
HAY is not intended to be a medical substitute or replacement for any advice given by a medical professional. When undertaking any new wellness practice, consulting with a doctor is always advised.
There are multiple ways to find your previous practices. You can head to the "gear" button at the top of the screen and click on "latest responses", you can choose to also find previous practices in the icons where your practices will be stored.
Meditation is a practice that involves focusing or clearing your mind using a combination of mental and physical techniques. It's an ancient practice that's been used for thousands of years and while we acknowledge the depth and many modalities of meditation, HAY has chosen to offer some visualization and reflections on life and nature for the user to dive into by way of not necessarily "shutting out thoughts" but instead something to focus on that helps us ride the waves of daily energy. It's the same for the breathing exercises, HAY has taken different modalities and given the user a way to relate in what we hope is a new and different way.
Affirmations are statements that offer emotional support or encouragement. The action or process of stating or declaring these as facts is integral to our self-belief and clarity based on the understanding that we're actually rewiring our own brains. When we practice affirmations at HAY, we often repeat them three to five times and sometimes write it down and carry it in our pockets.
Some of these practices were designed to offer instant support, such as stress relief, and health improvements. The decision to practice more consistently and intentionally can offer benefits like better sleep, slower heart rates and may help reduce anxiety. HAY was designed for you to go at your own pace. And we don't make demands on you to practice, but love to encourage consistency to further enhance your experience.
HAY won't track your progress or compile health data, because of that, there will be no data to sell. Your information is encrypted and safe with HAY.
